GA Video Blog: ‘Virtual volunteers’ and off-site delegates

During the 2011 General Assembly conference of the Unitarian Universalist Association I conducted a video blogging experiment in partnership with the UU World Magazine.  If you watch and share these videos, please share feedback with me.  Are these interesting, helpful, relevant? I want to know!

This is video #10 in the series.

Video description from post on UU World GA blog:

At this General Assembly the UUA is experimenting with delegates participating off-site. In this segment UUA Moderator Gini Courter (Facebook Page) introduces us to some of the “virtual volunteers” who are helping to make this possible.

  1. Thanks for the fun footage of that half of the Off-site Delegates team!
It’s important to know that in addition to the four of us out on the floor, there were also four more folks in the event office at the back of the room. They were the ones talking directly to the off-site delegates, so needed to be able to talk without disturbing the event. The on-floor team then presented the audio and voting results to the room.
