The small congregation has much to offer. But a small congregation also faces challenges. However, there are ways a small congregation can address these challenges in order to be a vital place for faith formation, social connection and public expression of Unitarian Universalist values.
This workshop is designed to increase the skills of congregation leaders with the goal to improve congregational health and vitality. Participants will learn about resources, work on congregational assessments and strategies and establish networks for on-going support.
The Rev Karen Brammer, Northern New England District Small Church Specialist. She also has served as the parish minister in two small congrgations and has prepared small congregation development resouces that are being used nationally.
