On Saturday, October 30, 2010 I will be presenting two workshops at the BCD Fall “UU REVOLUTION” themed conference. I’ll be presenting on both SMALL and MEGA themes.
One workshop will focus on how the use of Small Groups can help our congregations adapt to trends changing the people are relating with one another and participating in communities, both faith communities and a growing number of other offerings. Think Small Group Ministry meets Faith Formation 2020.
My other workshop will be my version of “What we can learn from Mega Churches.” The short version, we need to be mega-relational and super-size our leadership and ministry development process busting it waaaay out beyond our present binary ministry. This workshop will draw on my decade long study of Mega-Churches, cell ministry and church planting.
These workshops will be crafted to stand alone and work as a dual workshop track.
Okay, that’s all I’m going to share for now.
Remember, participants from all districts are welcome to attend the conference.
