UUA Monthly Bulletin for Congregations

Did you know that the UUA compiles a monthly packet of announcements for congregations to use in their newsletters?  You can find these announcements at the link below.  A leader in my district had trouble finding it online and thought it had been discontinued.   Its still there, and here:

Here is the May bulletin in its entirety. The next batch will come at the end of this month.

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the staff here at the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), I hope this letter finds you well. Please read the following announcements and share the materials listed below with your congregation.

The Eliot & Pickett Houses, the UUA’s bed and breakfast in Boston, is offering a discount for all new reservations made for a minimum three-day stay between May 17, 2010 and September 30, 2010. Discounts apply to new reservations made between April 25, 2010 and September 15, 2010.

The UUA Finance office invites investors in the Unitarian Universalist Common Endowment Fund to join in the quarterly conference call May 11, 2010 from 2pm to 3pm. Congregations considering investment are also invited to take part.

The UUA Youth and Young Adult (YaYA) Ministries office is offering a leadership development conference for youths and young adults of color. The conference will be held at the UUA headquarters in Boston, with travel and housing paid by the YaYA Ministries office. The deadline to apply is May 15, 2010.

The UUA Administration invites you to send us high-quality, high-resolution pictures of your congregation’s activities. This could include pictures of your congregation at worship, engaging in social action, on group trips, making building renovations, and much more! Please send your images via email to uupix @ uua.org.

We hope you enjoy all of the materials offered here.

Warmest Regards,
