“It’s alive!!!” These famous words by Dr. Frankenstein have been coming to mind as I’ve watched the UU Growth Lab grow from an idea for a Facebook group to an inspiring community of hundreds of forward-looking Unitarian Universalist change agents.
On Saturday, February 26th, 2011 I launched the UU Growth Lab to serve as a “free space and think tank for Unitarian Universalist change agents.” Within 15 minutes of creating the group, people started finding it and joining simply by searching for Unitarian Universalism on Facebook. By the end of the weekend it was clear that we have a lot of UU change agents out there, and that the lab was, well, alive…
Two weeks into this UU social media experiment over 300 Unitarian Universalists had joined and were sharing ideas, dreaming, innovating…. One of the ideas was to have a weekly blog challenge where the lab could address a question and members could offer comments to be shared publicly.
